Khalil Al Salem, General Secretary of West Asia Football Federation since 2017.

Prior to joining WAFF, he has been actively involved in sports for the past 10 years, by being the General Secretary of Jordan Football Association from 2009 – 2013, then Member of the AFC Audit & Competition Committees until 2016. Additionally, Khalil was an AFC Match Commisioner in 2016.

He is a graduate of Columbia University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

Khalil is a Board Member of several organizations in Jordan, including Capital Bank of Jordan since 2007, New English School since 2017.
