LaLiga and WAFF organize their first Digital Innovation Conference

Federations, leagues, media and clubs from 12 different countries attended the three panels about digitalization and the trends in football innovation.
 
 
 
As part of its drive for excellence and international expansion, LaLiga and West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) have organized their first ‘Digital Innovation Conference’ with the aim of sharing information about digitalization and how technology is helping to boost the football industry.
 
The conference started with the panel ‘Digital marketing strategies’ where Alfredo Bermejo, LaLiga Digital Strategy Director, shared and Ian Wray, Head of Football Genius Sports, spoke about the convergence of sports, technology, media and engagement.
 
Fabio Gallo, Head of Product LaLiga Tech and Dave Roberts, Head of MA/OTT & Digital, FIFA +, starred the second panel, where attendants found out the technology solutions designed and implemented by LaLiga and that are available to other companies under three principal areas: fan engagement, content enhancement and competition management.
 
Maite Ventura, LaLiga Managing Director MENA and Nick Saponaro, CEO The Divi Project, closed the conference by discussing crypto-sponsorships and how to drive innovation and create meaningful customer relationships through rich and engaging experiences as ‘Crypto-made-easy’ pioneer, Divi, is doing all around the world.
